2012 AHS Conference
1ST ANNUAL AHS CONFERENCE
The first annual conference of the Alaska Herpetological Society (AHS) was held via video-link on October 27th, 2012 on the UAF, UAS and UAA campuses. It was a huge success and included excellent presentations from researchers conducting amphibian-related investigations in the state of Alaska.

Conference lectures were followed by the Annual Meeting of AHS.
Officer elections were held as part of the Annual Meeting and all current officers were re-elected for another term. Congratulations to Joshua Ream (President), Allyssa Gabriel (Vice-President), Greg Cazemier (Secretary) and Joseph Morris (Treasurer).
We are already looking forward to the next conference to be held in 2013. Planning will commence soon and information will be made available on the website as it becomes available. We welcome anyone wishing to volunteer to help with the 2013 conference to contact us at your earliest convenience.
