2017 Conference

AHS is partnering with the Alaska Chapter of The Wildlife Society to host a joint spring 2017 conference! The AHS portion of the conference will be held on Thursday April 6th! Please join us to hear about recent herpetological research and management in Alaska and to help us to develop our amazing programs. We welcome everyone with an interest in amphibians and reptiles at high latitudes! 

CLICK HERE to register for the AHS conference ONLY. The cost is $20 and includes an annual membership in AHS. Attendance can be in-person (Fairbanks) or by teleconference / video-conference.

ABSTRACTS AND AGENDA WILL BE POSTED HERE ALONG WITH DETAILS FOR TELECONFERENCE / VIDEO-CONFERENCE ATTENDEES. PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON. 

Our conference will include a keynote speaker, formal and informal talks, and an annual business meeting. We encourage everyone attending the AHS conference to talk briefly about their interests, research, and recent observations as they pertain to Alaska's herpetofauna. These can be formal or informal. If you wish to give a FORMAL talk as part of the program, please submit your abstract by CLICKING HERE. To give an informal talk, presentation, or just to offer some recent observations of herpetofauna, CLICK HERE. Formal abstracts will be accepted until midnight on March 1st, 2017.
